THE ROLE
Due to an internal promotion, a rare opportunity has become available to take responsibility for the UK marketing of the Call of Duty business. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the number one selling video game in the UK and Worldwide in 2009, and has already become one of the largest global entertainment launches of all time.
This is a very high profile role within the organisation and reports to the UK Marketing Director. You will work as part of the territory marketing team focused on delivering outstanding strategies, plans and programmes. A successful applicant for this role will be a graduate with marketing experience primarily gained within a leading blue-chip, FMCG or entertainment organisation. You will be committed to working to the highest standards and your career to date will demonstrate a proven track record of success. A genuine passion for video games would be a distinct advantage.
Additional skills should include:
• Classical brand management experience.
• Experience working with consumer research data and segmentation.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
• Forecasting experience and P+L management.
• Very good numerical, analytical and communication skills.
• Solid media experience working with multi-million pound ATL budgets.
• Ability to lead a cross functional team and influence senior levels of the business.
• Experience of developing partnerships and programmes with external brands.
