THE ROLE
Development Technologist, Product Development, NPD
£15,000 - £22,000, pension, BUPA, 25 days holiday

Reporting to the New Product Development Manager you will be required to work within a busy team that specialise in the production of ambient bakery products. The main duties of this role will include the compiling and maintaining of finished product specifications, hands-on product development activities such as production trials, creative design, taste panels and recipe development to ensure compliance with both legislative and customer specific requirements.
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in Food Science or equivalent along with a good understanding of the dealing with a product from conception to completion. A sound knowledge of the “Red Sky” IT package is preferable but not essential along with a good understanding of food labelling regulation and general food law requirements.
