THE ROLE
This role, reporting to the Commercial Director, involves managing the day to day relationship between the company and the customers through driving the NPD team to deliver results. You will be required to deliver first market concepts to existing customers and forging opportunities with new customers, building relationships across the factory including planning, production and Technical departments to ensure a seamless approach to new product development. Manage NPD plans – delivering on time and within budget along with managing, training and developing the NPD team.
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate industry knowledge and a proven track record of achievement within an NPD role, ideally within a large food-manufacturing environment. .
Hands-on Man Manager with experience in supporting and driving experienced food developers and harnessing their creativity and enthusiasm in developing products that meet the customer’s needs.
A strong communicator with the ability to influence others. Passionate about food, showing enthusiasm, knowledge and experience of food manufacturing.
