THE ROLE
This position will involve acquiring, analysing and reporting on sensory data to international standards including leading sensory panels and providing general sensory support to the site. The key activities will include developing and implementing sensory evaluation procedures and methods, organising and reporting on and interpreting sensory information, co-ordinating and reporting shelf life and Quality Assurance testing.
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a similar role and experience of product evaluation, i.e colour perception, taste, smell etc. You will be an assertive team player with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under own initiative. Additionally you must have experience of standard laboratory practices and / or food production.
