My client is a leading importer and supplier of speciality seafood to the foodservice and retail markets. Currently turning over in excess of £17million in the UK, they are a privately owned operation that also trades across much of Europe. Due to the fact that they are investing heavily, they are now looking to expand the sales team within the South East/Midlands.
THE ROLE
Regional Account Manager

London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage a portfolio of Wholesale, Cash & Carry and end user accounts across the South East and West Midlands. There will be a number of existing accounts although a percentage of the time will be spent developing new business. This is a new role so the emphasis will be on the successful applicant to manage their own time and be able to work autonomously.
THE PERSON
Applicants currently working as business development managers, sales executives, account managers or in any professional sales role with a provable track record of success are invited to apply if they are -
Currently working within field sales, you will have a strong knowledge of the UK foodservice market and a background in catering or cheffing would be ideal. The ability to develop new business is essential and tenacity and drive will be needed to make this successful.
