Our client is the leading supplier of specialist cleaning and facilities management services to the Food Manufacturing sector.
Following an internal promotion they are looking to recruit a business development manager.
Working closely with the highly experienced Sales Director, you will receive a structured 4 week induction, followed by first class training, providing you with an in depth knowledge of the Food Manufacturing sector, along with the spectrum of services the Company provide.

£30,000-£37,000 OTE 50,000-£57,000, Company Car, PMI, Pension, Flexible Benefits.

Working in a close knit sales and operations team, the business development manager will pick up established working relationships at multiple levels from General Manager and Procurement to FD and Technical Director.
By providing complete ‘soft’ facilities management services, contracts will run from 3-5 years, at values of £200,000+ per year. Leads will be generated for the business development manager via a combination of direct marketing, internal networking, an experienced telemarketing team and self-generation.
This strategic business development manager role will require a consultative approach, enabling you to gain an in depth understand of your customers businesses.
Relationships will be built directly with all the major food manufacturing companies. This technical sale will suit a rising star, that is seeking to develop a sales career.
THE PERSON
Applicants currently working as technical sales, business development managers, sales executives, account managers or in any professional sales role with a proven track record of success are invited to apply if they have -
You will ideally have a background within the food Industry and look to develop a sales career utilising your technical or operations experience. Alternatively you will have a proven track record selling to the food manufacturing sector.
