THE ROLE
This position will require you to work Mon – Fri 10pm – 6am in a busy FMCG environment where you will continually assess the company plant and equipment for efficiency, purpose and implement improvements. You will use line monitoring, fault finding and problem solving systems / techniques in order to maximise utilisation of all company plant and equipment, by minimising downtime through scheduled maintenance and continuous improvement. Additionally you will manage small projects and assist with major projects as part of a team.
THE PERSON
The successful candidate will a time-served Electrical Engineer with a minimum of ONC / NVQ level 3 in Engineering. You will ideally have worked within a similar environment and be accustomed to trouble shooting and fault finding on production machinery. Good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to deal with both suppliers and internal customers.
Job Salary / Benefits:
£29.5K, £33K after probation,pension,bonus,25 days
