THE ROLE
Reporting into the Brand Director, this role is pivotal in terms of spotting and developing opportunities for growth of brands and sales channels through market insights. Managing two category insight managers, you will be responsible for the purchase of key market data from a variety of sources and use the insights delivered from your team to recognise and communicate trends, issues and commercial opportunities across the brand portfolio. This will be an integral part of the commercial planning process and you will be liaising with senior members of the executive management team.
THE PERSON
• Successful applicants for this role will have a strong FMCG industry background. Your experience will need to be strong in-terms of consumer and shopper insights, market research and category insights, clearly analytical and an expert at using data to create compelling business cases. In this role you will also need to have experience of managing people, suppliers and presenting ideas to internal stakeholders as well as customers.
